Dragon*Con 2006 [Sep. 6th, 2006|03:35 pm]
[Current Location |Home]
[mood | crazy]
[music |Sail the Sky]

Wow. Where to start? I guess the beginning is the best possible place...

Let me just start out by saying that for a long time, I REALLY wasn't sure if I was gonna go. There was a lot of crap going on, with school, money and the like and I just didn't know if I could make it happen. However, at the pretty much last minute, with me saving for a very long time and then rolling a whole bunch of coin that I had at my house, I was able to make the whole damn thing happen.

And I am exstatic that I did!

We left on Wednsday night around 11:45 PM or so. We figured that since we were going to be towing a Mad Max truck behind us that it would take a little longer then normal. We figuring on about 12 hours (keep in mind that when Dave drives he can usually make this trip in something like 9-10 hours). So we left. It rained and a lot of our clothes got wet. On top of that, we had to drive very slowly through the mountains in order to make sure that we didn't slide all over the road and such. We ran into a couple of traffic jams, but eventually we made it there around 1:30 PM on Thursday. So... we didn't make BAD time, but we didn't make good time either. It wasn't the best of circumstances when it came to that sort of thing. When we got there, we discovered that the Marriot (where we were staying) was doing construction, and therefore we had no where to park the truck. This really sucked... so we had to park it pretty far away. Dave was sort of worried... but it ended up turning out okay.

So, once we were all settled in and had a nap and stuff, we put on some generic Ren Faire stuff and started to wander around, just to see what people were doing. Man, I saw some really neat costumes that night. The Stargate stuff was freaking fantastic and they had a lot of other really neat things. The Stormtroopers were cool... but after a while you began to realize that they were basically just like a dime a dozen. The same, unfortunetly, can and should be said about the Stargate uniforms that were running around. There were a lot of them... and it sort of killed the atmosphere. But, we ended up statying up till about 2-3 or whatever, talking to people before we went to bed.

The convention started the next day.

I woke up and walked around the Dealers room for a while dressed in regular clothes. This was kind of nice because I was able to just chill, sit back, and watch stuff unfold around me as I looked at the merchendise. I don't think that I bought anything on that first trip through... oh wait... I bought a "Camping, Its a Legitimate Strategy" T-shirt and a Rooster Teeth hat from Matt and Geoff... and that is all that I bought on Friday. Once I had walked around there for a bit, I headed back up to the room to put on the Stargate Costume that I had. I had to get the celebrity panel at 4... and I made it. The first one had Cliff Simon, Don S. Davis, Eric Avari and Bill Dow. Man did they have some really cool things to say! I think that Don had taken it on himself to be the spokesperson for the whole cancelation thing... he kept saying that MGM is NOT going to let SG-1 die as it is MGMs most successful franchise next to James Bond... which is a REALLY high honor. He said it appears that there is a budget for a HUGE film that MGM is putting together, along with the possibility of 2 more movies about SG-1 and perhaps another spin-off. So that is REALLY cool. Also, MGM is thinking about going back, still, and doing the remaining two movies the way that there were originally supposed to be in the trilogy form. Kind of neat! After this, I just sort of hung out, had a good time, ate dinner... all of that fun and happy stuff. Flirted with girls... you all know the routine. Went to bed around 3:30 on Friday night... not too bad but it could have been later.

Saturday was AWESOME.

We marched in the parade as Mad Max, using Dave's truck. That went over so freaking well it isn't even funny. We really enjoyed doing that one. After that, I made a quick walk to an Army Surplus store and purchased a few things to make carrying the P-90 more comfortable. It turned out okay... I wish that it had been better though. The day went on... I bought more things, including a resin mold of Captain Mal's pistol, another shirt, my four SG-1 patches... and then I got ready to go to the next Stargate Celebrity panel. This one had Don S. Davis, Rachel Luttrel, Torri Higginson, Kavan Smith, Eric Avari, Bill Dow, Cliff Simon, Claire Rankin and one other person... her name is failing me right now. Once again, it was a great panel... got to hear a lot of humor and I got to learn quite a bit about the show and such. Good times all around with that one! Once it was over, I went to go and get autographs. Not, let me just say that I am very proud of the autographs that I have... they are really cool. What I am NOT pleased with was the fact that they were a total of 70 dollars for 3 of them. TOTALLY not cool. That is practically high-way robbery! But... I did it anyways. I bought one of the pictures so that I can hopefully one day get the entire cast of Atlantis to sign it... and the one that I got for Don to sign he hand carried in. So there will be a limited number of those in circulation. The coolest thing was that they were all very personable and enjoyed talking to you. I had a lot of fun talking to them all... and I managed to make Torri Higinson blush and call me a 'Silver Tongued Devil'. She even wrote that on my autograph! Fucking cool. At any rate, that was pretty much it for that portion of the day... I went back to my room and, for the first time at Dragon*Con, donned the Malcolm Reynolds costume for the Firefly Shindig later that night. Little did I know how well it would go over. I thought that it wouldn't work at all... But it ended up being absolutely perfect. So I get there around... oh... 9:30 at night or so and get in line. Yes. There was a line to get into the Firefly Shindig. Well… I am waiting in line… and you all know how I am. I am talking to people, having a good time and all of that jazz. When this girl dressed as Inara catches my attention. Well… me, her and another girl, Amy, who was dressed as Jayne, decide that we are going to sing, which we do. Pretty well, if I may be so bold. We sang the theme song and Hero of Canton. They were calling me Captain… is was great. Well, we decided to get out of line because we weren’t going to get in anyways. So we did and wandered around for a while, having a ton of pictures taken of us, until we finally headed back in. And it was a great thing that we did. The last band to get up there were the Bedlam Bards. You can check them out at their website, www.bedlambards.com. They have a whole bunch of good Firefly and Serenity songs… if you enjoy the show and movie, I HIGHLY recommend that you purchase their album ‘On the Drift’. It is fantastic. So, we went back… and I danced as Mal. It was sweet. There is a song, it is called ‘Sail the Sky’ and each verse is for a different person on Serenity. Well… verse 3 was for Mal and Inara, so Andrea and I went out and danced to that one. It was great! So, we hung out, danced and had a great time for the rest of the evening until that was over. Once it was finished, we walked around for a bit before we decided to just hang out… which we did. We were up, talking and BSing, until 5:30 AM when I walked her back to her hotel room. So ended Saturday… the best day of the Con!

Sunday was a LOT more chill for me. I wasn’t nearly as busy and had a lot of time to myself. I walked around some more, purchased a few things (like a Zat) and hung out with Andrea as Mal and Inara some more. It was a cool evening… I thought about going to the Harry Potter Yule Ball, but I decided against it. I wore the Stargate costume for a while again on Sunday, but not for a really long time. Hung out with the Ghostbusters for a long time on Sunday… they were REALLY freaking cool. They had packs that light up and make noise and everything. It was totally worth it and very cool. That night was also the Masquerade, which is something that should NOT be missed if you are at Dragon*Con. Basically, people come up on stage, show off their costumes and do skits to entertain people. It was highly amusing. If the skit starts to go too long or is boring… members of the 501st come out and escort them off the stage at blasterpoint. Freaking awesome. My cousin and I have a great idea for next year… but I can’t say anything about it yet. It needs to be kept under wraps… for now. The judges were cool and I really had a great time sitting there and watching. Pretty much ended the night by going and trying to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show with the Ghostbusters and Andrea. It was really neat because they had people up on stage acting it out and such. That just made it that much more fun. On top of that, the audience was really cool and really into it. That made it just that much more fun. However, by the time it got here, I was dead tired. I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore, so around 4:45 or so, I headed back to the room and went to bed.

Monday was just a rush in trying to get everything packed up and get checked out in time. We were able to get out of the room in time, but the whole thing was a huge cluster fuck with trying to get it all in the truck and stuff. It ended up okay in the end, but it took it a long while. I got to say good-bye to Andrea and Amy and we exchanged e-mails. Next year, we are going to be the best damn Mal and Inara and Jaynce Cobb there! I am already looking forward to hanging out with those two really cool girls again next year. We got on the road around 1… had some problems with getting everything back in. The ride back was funny. We were all still so hyped up about the whole Dragon*Con experience that we were talking about what we were going to do for NEXT year! My plans are to tweak my SG and Mal Reynolds costumes, and then a Captain America and Red Skull costume to the mix. To be both the Hero and the Villain. That is the best idea ever. We also hit on a great idea for the Masquerade for next year… which will be really funny and cool if we can get it to happen. We got home around 2 or so… and that was the end of Dragon*Con 2006.

It was a great weekend… and I already can’t wait for next year!

Although, next year, I am going to take the day after Labor off… too hard to get into work on so little sleep!

First Weekend [Aug. 21st, 2006|11:27 am]
[mood | drunk]
[music |Roadside Zoo - She Comes to Me]

Well and wow.
This weekend was so great and awesome I can't even begin to describe it! We had a great time, the Order of the Wandering Eye, and Michigan Renaissance Festival was as good as ever!
Lets see... how should I start? I guess the beginning.

Well, on Saturday, I woke up at 6 AM in order to take a shower and head off to the Faire. You see, the booth that we have our Den behind, Kilts N'More, has a canopy and a platform that we put up for them every year. We get to use half of it and they get to keep the other. Pretty cool. Well, we couldn't put the tarp right away this year because we couldn't find a size that would work. Last year, we had three and water got into the structure, so this year we decided to just get one, long, tarp. Well, we had to special order it, and it finally got to us during the week. Well, we got there at about 8:30 and put up the tarp... and then... it was on. The Rogues were back... but we sort of decided to keep a low profile. You see, security has been routinely trying to screw us over in the past, so we figured if we started out with a low profile, things might go a lot better for us this year, which appears to be the case. So, I started drinking right away at about 10. In the morning. So our flower shop closed after last season... they weren't making any money. So what we did was go to the new flower shop, and talked to them. The roses are normally 3 dollars a stem, with the special Rogue price of 2 dollars a stem. Well... we asked them if we bought them in bulk, what we could get price wise. We told them... well... we got THIS price last year, blah blah blah. So... we have a special price ON the special price, only for the Order of the Wandering Eye. So that was really fraking cool. We did a grand total of four Roguings, one of which was the bride of a wedding that had just taken place earlier in the day. The guy tried to pay us... and we were like, no, we don't accept payment! So they raved to management about the wandering street performers, especially the guys that did the Roguing. So that was hella cool. (Oh, should I mention, we are NOT employed by the Faire?) Later that day, I was still pretty liquored up and I managed to get a lady to allow me to take a bodice shot out of her bodice. Well... the chiller exploded in my mouth... TOTALLY an accident. It was very thin glass... but still not good. So I got some awesome sympathy points there. Later, we sat in the den and talked before heading out to eat. Finally, we headed home and got back at about 11 or so.

And so ended the first day of MiRF.

On Sunday, we went again, this time a little later. Oh... I WASN'T DRIVING! Yey! So we went, got there early and got dressed. I wore my browncoat with a tricorn and a few other things, making a really awesome Pirate outfit. I am sure pictures exist SOMEWHERE... but I don't know where. So... started drinking right away. By the time I was supposed to help present the sword to the Queen with the rest of the blood hounds... I was TRASHED. It turned out good though... I didn't have any speaking parts, so that was okay. Then I walked, well, stumbled, through the parade. THAT was funny. Once that was over, we all went and did our roguings at 2 and we did my friend Heather. She loved every minute of it, and she blamed me the whole time. Hehe. I got to call her 'woman' because she wasn't wearing her wench pin. So, that went well, and then we went on a CHASM walk, which stands for Cleavage Happy Aficianado Society of Men, with the Bloodhounds. That was awesome as well and we throughly enjoyed that. Then I just sort of hung around till it was time to go to Pub Sing. Well... I got there and started talking to people... made out with a girl and then was invited to come to dinner with them. So my brother Rogues took me and dropped me off at the restaurant, where I hung out and had a good time for a few hours, till about 11:30. The girls then took me back to Scott's house (I was still kind of drunk) and I drove home. Ended up actually getting home at about 1.

So... that is my accounting of the first weekend of MiRF. I am still hoping to break a record and be the Rogue 'Hiding in the Den'.

Wish me luck!

Realization [Aug. 15th, 2006|08:53 pm]
[mood | contemplative]

You know... today I FINALLY realized something.
As you all know, I coach soccer for my former High School. I coach the JV team and I have a great time doing it. I get to get some extra excercise, be around the game that I love so much, I get to learn, and I get to teach. All of this is worth it. However, I have been thinking for the last couple of months that something was going to be different about this year. I couldn't quite put my finger on what, there was going to be something. Oh, sure, a lot of kids were going to graduate and I was going to be working with someone new and I was going to have a TON of new 9th graders. That wasn't the issue... it happens every year.
No.
What it came down to is this.
This is going to be the first year that I won't have someone to call after the games, tell them about how it went, and tell them that I care about them.
Yes, it is going to be the first season since I started coaching that Heather won't be there.
It already feels a little bit wierd.
However... in a way, while it bothers me... it also does not. I honestly don't know what I am feeling. I sort of miss that interaction, to be sure. I don't even think that I really miss HER in all of this. Just that interaction. It is actually a very strange feeling and one that I hope will eventually go away.
It is wierd, as I have said. I don't think that I miss her hardly ever any more. Oh... sure... seeing her still hurts quite a bit. But, I am mostly over her.
Wierd.
I guess I just need to figure out all of this fits in.
Any advice would be appreciated.

(Click here to post your own answers for this meme.)

I miss somebody right now. I don't watch much TV these days.  (Really, I only watch SG-1 and Atlantis.) I own lots of books.
I wear glasses or contact lenses. I love to play video games.  (You know that I am addicted. I just recently got back to World of WarCraft... and I am having a great time with it.) × I've tried marijuana.
I've watched porn movies.  (Only once.) I have been the psycho-ex in a past relationship.  (Who hasn't?) I believe honesty is usually the best policy.
I curse sometimes.  (More then I really should.) I have changed a lot mentally over the last year.  (Yeah.
Being completely screwed up in the head by someone will do that to ya.)
I carry my knife/razor everywhere with me.
it goes on... )

Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me [Jul. 7th, 2006|10:04 am]
[Current Location |Work]
[mood | tired]

At any rate, last night we all went to see PotC II: The Dead Man's Chest. It was pretty good. In my opinion, not quite as good as the first, but still very enjoyable all the same. Quite a few of the jokes were new and stuff, but many of them were merely rehashes of the same jokes and characters from the first one. So it was a little bit stale in some ways, but in most of the plot and action and stuff, very new. The fight scenes were good and enjoyable and the movie had a fairly good pace. It felt like it stalled to a stop a couple of times and the movie itself was 2 1/2 hours long. It felt like I was sitting there for WAY too long, and believe me, my bladder agreed with me.

At any rate, here is my pirate crew.

"Fifteen men on a dead man's chest. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!"
(Speaking of rum... I took 13 ounces with me to the movie last night. Didn't get to drink very much of it... but meh. Point is I had it.)
And I was dressed up like a pirate. A Browncoat pirate.
Awesome.

The Weekend [Jun. 27th, 2006|01:32 pm]

An actual update! Yey!

Okie Dokie!

Well, I had promised you all a report of what had happened this past weekend, so it goes!

I guess I should start off with Friday. I was actually able to get off of work at 3 so that I could make it to the Wedding Rehersal on time. So I left here at about 3, completely exhausted because I just couldn't seem to fall asleep Thursday night. So, I get to the church which was in Roseville, about an hour away from me in Downtown rush hour traffic. So, I get there and everything went really good. It was really cool to meet some of those people and it was awesome to see my old high school friends. At any rate, we had a very good time at the rehersal and I have definetly found out that there are some things that never change and probably will NEVER change. So, we all had a good time there and then went home. I don't know why Josh decided that he wanted to spend most of his last night of not being married hanging out with his finace... but he did. Oh well.

The next morning Vicki came by at about, eh, 9:30 or so. My sister was going to do her hair and her makeup for the wedding. So... I forced myself awake, stumbled down the stairs and got my day going. I cleaned and vacuumed out the truck and went to get a card for Josh and Heather for their wedding. From there... I went to get dressed in my tuxedo while Vicki was finishing up getting dressed and done up. Let me just say that Iooked pretty damn good in that tux! As soon as I can, I will post some pictures of it. I thought that I cleaned up rather well for this situation. At any rate, Vicki looked beautiful and we headed for the church at about 12:10 or so so that we could make it there by 1. Of course, you all know how I am. Early is on time and on time is late. So, when I got there, practically no one was there. So we just waited outside and finally some of the guys in the wedding party, including Josh, the groom, began to show up. We hung out for a bit, prank called the last groomsmen that was being extremely late, and then really started to get ready. We took pictures... and then it was time for the ceremony.

Let me just say that it was a very nice one. It was short... a little bit over a 1/2 hour, which was REALLY nice. I escorted Karen and she was a really nice young woman. I was told that I was the best escorter out of everyone, so that is really cool. Heather was gorgeous. She picked a very flattering dress and she looked absolutely lovely. The service went by extremely fast and we were all able to stand the entire time and not make complete asses of ourselves. We managed to keep it very dignified and such and it turned out really nice.

So, after that, there were more pictures... Josh and Heather drove off in the limo and then came back to pick us up. More pictures at a park and then... it happened. Now... Josh was a fool. He only had ONE bottle of champagne in the limo for something like 13 people. Now that is just insane, for starters. So, after some begging on Paul's and my part... we stopped at a Rite Aid. Me, Paul, a bridesmaid name Steph (who was really cool) and a usher named Andy all went into the store. We ended up with two bottles of Asti, a fifth of Southern Comfort and a bottle of Apple Pucker. Okay, so we hop back in the limo and start to head towards the reception. On the way, I had a couple of shots of So-Co... nothing hard core, just a little bit. Then, when we were almost to the Reception, Andy, who had mixed the Pucker and So-Co, hands me his 20 ounce cup that had about 1/2 left in it and tells me to down it. Which I did. Then Paul handed me his cup, which was about 1/4 full. Then I downed that. So... we finally made it to the Reception.

I was Drunk.

We walked in and I was able to do a pretty good job of it, which was cool. I didn't stumble or anything... I just looked "Very Happy", according to Vicki. I was actually able to keep it on the DL for most of the beginning of the night... except for the point were I was trying to sit in my chair and I fell right off the dias onto the ground. Now THAT was funny. At any rate, I didn't have any more at the Reception since I had to drive home. Besides, Vicki says that the bar wasn't very good anyways. Meh. Oh well. So I had a great time. Lots of dances... I was told that I was the best dancer out of all of the groomsmen as well. Damn. I guess Ren Faire really DOES have some benefits! lol So the couple ended up leaving around 11 and we stayed till about 11:30. It actually ended a little bit early, IMO, but thats okay because we were all tired. So, I got us home around 12:30 or so... and Vicki and I decided we would watch a movie. So we did... (it was Pirates of the Carribbean) and we fell asleep. We woke up around 3:30 or so and I took her home.

And that was my Saturday adventure.

Sunday I took back the tux and went out to lunch and dinner with Vicki. We had a pretty good time and I went with her to babysit. That was actually a lot of fun and the kids were cute. We went to Cheli's Chili for lunch and then to TGI Friday's for dinner. The kids were really cute even though they were very messy, especially the little one. We went to get some Ice Cream. Man... Rishi, the little boy, got that stuff EVERYWHERE. *Sigh* Then we headed home, back to my house again. We ended up watching Madagascar, since Vicki hadn't ever seen it, and Spaceballs. It was a good time... and once again, Vicki didn't end up leaving until almost 3:00 A.M.

Yesterday was work. Suck.

Played soccer last night and we lost our first game. We just weren't playing well at all. Then I ended up at Vicki's and we fell asleep. Didn't end up leaving there till about 4:30.

So, yeah, all in all, a really good and fun weekend!

There are times... times that I wonder what is going on with me. I wonder if I am even thought about. I wonder if I ever really meant anything to anyone. I wonder if I actually DESERVE to have a good, loving wife someday. I wonder if I am doomed to be alone for the rest of my life, without any children or a home to call my own, due to my idosyncracies. I wonder if I am just a page in someone's history and they don't even care to look back and think about me at all. I wonder if I am destined to sit, alone, and forgotten for the rest of time, an ache in my heart and a void in my life. I wonder if I somehow let the best thing that ever happened to me go. I wonder if she still even cares at all.

Well.
Work really sucked today. I had to go to a stupid meeting at the main branch... and it was boring as HELL. I hate those things. Not only does it waste my gas money, but also my time since I am not getting paid anything extra for that work on that day. So that situation really blows hard core.
Other then that... Clicks may be canceled tonight.

The Star Wars one is a little bit wierd. The X-Men one fits though, I think.

You Are Iceman

You tried to live a normal life, but it just wasn't possible
A bit of a slacker, you rather tell jokes than cultivate your powers

Powers: turning self and others into ice, making ice weapons, becoming nearly invisible

Star Wars Horoscope for Leo

[mood | accomplished]

Yes, I am still alive.
I know that I haven't been too busy on here as of late, but there is a reason for that. Basically, life has finally caught up with me and I almost never have a minute to myself.

1) My ex is: I honestly don't know. Still not ready to hang with her yet.

2) Maybe I should: get out more. :)

3) I love: my family....

4) I don't understand: why bad things happen to good people.

5) I lost my: sanity. I sold it to the bean man!

6) People say that I'm: REALLY dorky.

7) Sex is: something that should be loving and not just physical.

8) Love is: an emotion that is hard to ignore, but at times, should be.

9) Somewhere: in an alternate universe, I don't have diabetes.

10) I will always: be a dork.

11) Forever: is nothing. Nothing is forever.

12) I never want to: die alone.

13) I think the current President is: doing a decent job, but needs to be harder on the whole immigration issue.

14) When I wake up in the morning I: consider going back to sleep. I hate mornings. Grrr.

15) Life is full of: full of suprises.

16) My past: something I have learned from and continue to do so.

17) I get annoyed when: people around me are morons. Which is 99% of the time.

18) I wish: I was happier and not such a slacker.

19) My dog(s) is/are/was: are really tired.

20) Tomorrow I'm going to: Go running again and go to my sister's Honor's Assembly.

22) If I had a million dollars I'd: be Rich. lol. I already am Rich! Sweet. laugh*

23) Sometimes I want to: be someone else.

24) I wish you would: always be there for me.

25) I feel like: an idiot about certain things.

26)I am: a fun guy that loves to play soccer and basketball still and wants to lose weight.

27) I wish everyone would: just be happy with what they really and truly are and be themselves... not what society says that they have to be.

Why Now? [Apr. 25th, 2006|12:10 am]
[mood | sad]

Why? I really and honestly thought that I was done. I was moving on. I was doing great.
And yet, here tonight, I sit. I sit in front of my computer and I think about her. Heather.
God damn it!
It was done! I was over her!
Why the fuck now?
Why now?

Those Freaking Bastards [Apr. 13th, 2006|01:41 pm]
[mood | pissed off]

I am SO pissed off right now.

Here is the deal. I have been working at the credit union for... oh... almost a year and a half now. I have done good work. Only been off TWICE in a year and a half. One of the best tellers that they have here.

So, you know what they decide to do?

They fucking CUT MY HOURS. THOSE BITCHES. I have figured out the TOTAL loss of money for me. It comes out to 126 dollars and some odd cents every two weeks. That is HORRIBLE. It is going to kill me. With the rising price of gas, my payments for school, for credit card and having to pay into taxes this year, it is litterally going to fucking BREAK ME.

My manager can't do anything about it. It is all upper management. Not only am I one of the best tellers here, but I also do a lot of the manual work that no one is either capable of doing or wants to do.

So, I am totally screwed.

I am seriously about this close to walking out. Right now. Just not coming back.

Me As a DnD Character! [Mar. 30th, 2006|08:36 am]
[mood | rushed]

No suprise here, really.

I Am A: Neutral Good Half-Elf Ranger Fighter

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.

Deity:
Mielikki is the Neutral Good goddess of the forest and autumn. She is also known as the Lady of the Forest, and is the Patron of Rangers. Her followers are devoted to nature, and believe in the positive and outreaching elements of it. They use light armor, and a variety of weapons suitable for hunting, which they are quite skilled at. Mielikki's symbol is a unicorn head.

Me=Happy [Mar. 26th, 2006|03:20 am]
[mood | ecstatic]

I just had a GREAT day.
Thank you all for your advice on what I should do with Vicki. Ultimately, I have figured out through a combination of them all and am about 99% sure that she really IS interested in me! We talked and hung out a lot today and I made her dinner, took her to the bar and sang kareoke with her. We then watched The Incredibles together at her place until about 2:30 AM or so... and then, sadly, it was time for me to leave. So leave I did... but not before giving her a nice long hug and giving her a kiss on the lips!
She really seemed to like that!
So, yes, at the moment I am deliriously happy!

Dreams and Thoughts [Mar. 24th, 2006|09:12 am]
[mood | content]

Well, I had certainly thought that I was done with this... at least for a while.  But, meh.  Whatever.
So, at any rate, I have been seeing this girl named Vicki as of late.  I like her a lot... she is a lot of fun to be around.  One of those reasons is that she is athletic and she genuinely seems to like my uniquness.  This is rather cool because I know that I am a dork.  She is NOT, not by a long shot.  That is okay though, because she is athletic and that means that she will play sports with me and stuff.  This is REALLY cool because that is something that I have always wanted.
However, now on the flip side of all of this.
She is infuriating.  I honestly do not know what she wants.  I am so confused when it comes to this woman that it isn't even funny.  I mean, things are very nice between us, but I still can't tell if she wants to be friends or more then friends.  It is really odd.  Sometimes the way she acts when we are out tells me it is just friends, other times it doesn't.  But then again, she calls me or texts me just to talk or to say 'Hi' or, like last night, to say goodnight before she went to bed!  So, yes, I am very hella confused due to all of this.  I have decided to confront her about it sometime in the next week or so.  It should be interesting to say the least when that occurs.  I don't mind being friends at all... I just want to know what SHE would like.  This way I can either work on building something... or I can be friends with a great girl that I play soccer with and just continue on with my life.  Either way is fine... I just want to know.

Now, on to the really wierd thing.  Last night I dreamed out Heather... twice.
And you know what?
Both of them were VERY wierd.  Wierd enough that after I woke up from the second one, I was like 'WTF'?
So, anyways, I don't remember much about the first dream and only just a little bit about the second one that I had.  But, basically, I was in Heather's house only it wasn't quite her house and I was talking to her mother.  Her mom was telling me about how she bought this and that and how I could use some of it.  The thing that I remember clearly is looking at her telling her that she didn't need to do that.  Not only because she just didn't need to, but I didn't think that I would be around anymore.  Then Heather came in the room and sat down in a chair in a living room type of area and just looked at me.  That is the last thing that I remember about the dream...
So is that not a WTF thing or what?!

So, anyways, enough for now.  I have soccer tonight!
Yey!
